The reporter learned that with the accelerating pace of 5G commercial use, Jiangxi Province has vigorously promoted the landing of 5G + industrial Internet in order to seize the new opportunity of 5G empowerment. There are more than 400 5G application pilot projects led by Jiangxi information and communication industry, of which 98 are 5G + industrial Internet projects. The 5G+ industrial Internet project of Jiangxi Mingheng Textile Group is a typical one.
In recent years, the development of textile industry in Jiangxi Province is facing the problem of transformation and upgrading. Jiangxi Mingheng Textile Group has also encountered the practical problems of soaring labor costs, difficult recruitment, large personnel mobility and higher and higher requirements for equipment management. In view of the pain points of the textile industry, Fuzhou Unicom actively docked Mingheng Textile Group, on the basis of the original factory automation, gave full play to the technical advantages of 5G low delay and large bandwidth, and realized the 5G + industrial Internet layout. The first phase of the project realized the production data collection and real-time upload of 66 spinning equipment in the spinning workshop of Mingheng Textile Group, and realized the functions of production management data, fault early warning and intelligent diagnosis, data analysis, maintenance management, equipment optimization and so on. The second phase of the project will enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises as a starting point, using the Internet of things + big data + Internet ideas and technology to build a smart factory platform.
At present, the first phase of the 5G + industrial Internet project in the spinning workshop of Mingheng Textile Group has been put into operation for two months, and the number of workers in the workshop has been reduced from 300 to 200. After the second phase of the project is put into operation, it can be reduced to less than 100 people. The operating cost of the enterprise is reduced by 15%, the production efficiency is increased by 15%, the product upgrade cycle is shortened by 15%, and the energy efficiency is increased by 10%. It is worth mentioning that the huge amount of data collected by 5G + industrial Internet technology has provided strong support for enterprise product innovation and changed the enterprise manufacturing mode. Mingheng Textile Group has taken substantial steps in the transformation and upgrading from "manufacturing" to "intelligent manufacturing".
